Located in Corrèze, in the heart of France

This Manoir is situated in the hamlet of Clamensac, on the edge of St-Julien-aux-Bois, a charming, beautifully maintained village with a Post Office and Auberge. Five minutes away is the larger village of St Privat, which has a number of shops, supermarkets and restaurants. There are also several very good restaurants in the countryside immediately surrounding St Privat. And approximately thirty minutes away is the larger regional centre of Argentat. This attractive town with an ancient quay on the Dordogne River, has most services, supermarkets and some very good restaurants, several of these being listed in the Michelin guide. The area also has plenty of activities to offer including horse riding, water park, fishing, golf, canoeing, cycling and many more. If that all sounds too energetic, why not just relax by one of the many lakes?

Explore the surrounds far and wide

The house is suitable for rental by families or it can accommodate several couples or groups of friends. Given its central position in Corrèze, it is ideal for use as a base for those who wish to explore the surrounds far and wide. It is, for instance, possible to drive to Barcelona, Provence, the Basque area or even Switzerland in less than a day, spend a couple of days in these places and then return to Clamensac to rejuvenate or make plans for further expeditions.

Enjoy catered dinners cooked by Louise

Louise, the property manager, lives in the barn adjacent to the house. She is happy to shop for basic food supplies to be available on your arrival. She is also an excellent cook and by arrangement will provide catered meals. She has an excellent knowledge of both the house and surrounding areas and can ensure that your stay is a totally enjoyable experience.
